At OBCS, we believe behavior support is about more than just managing challenges, it’s about fostering growth, development, and meaningful connections for individuals, caregivers, parents, staff, and the residential support team. Our whole-person approach goes beyond traditional behavior management by focusing on strengths, communication, emotional well-being, and skill-building that empower individuals to thrive in all aspects of life, including home and residential settings.

We work alongside parents, caregivers, direct support professionals, and the residential support team to provide education, tools, and strategies that create a supportive and sustainable environment. By addressing the unique needs of each individual and their entire support system, we help build confidence, independence, and a stronger foundation for long-term success.

Behavioral supports are an array of services designed to support individuals who are  experiencing or are likely to experience challenges accessing, and actively participating in the  community as a result of behavioral, social or emotional challenges.

Behavioral support services are intended to empower individuals and families (by leveraging  their strengths and unique abilities) to achieve self-determination, interdependence, productivity,  integration and inclusion in all facets of community life, across all environments, across the  lifespan.
